The single-bladed, mechanical nut blaster is used to blast stuck, rusted or over-tightened grade 6 nuts. During this blasting process, the threaded pin remains undamaged. The cutting edge of the chisel, which is sharp due to a facet grind, penetrates deep into the
nut when the spindle is tightened until it is blasted. In restricted ambient conditions, when there is only little space available around the nut, the single-edged nut blaster is exactly the right choice
Apply nut splitter to the stuck nut
Manually pull the spindle to fix it until the bit presses against the
nut
Move the hexagon at the head of the spindle with a ratchet or a combination spanner until the nut is cracked
Turn the chisel back out of the blasted nut
If the nut is still not loosened after the first blasting attempt, the process must be repeated from the other side
