The separators of the 15 series are used together with the extractors of the 18 series for extracting ball bearings, roller bearings, inner rings and other parts lying flat in trade, industry and workshops when there is not enough space for extractors. The separating-pulling process is able to separate those parts gently before they can be pulled off from the outside.
Press the sharp cutting edges of the separator behind the part
Clamp the cut-off jaws with the aid of the pressure spindle by evenly tightening the adjusting nuts on the side bolts of the cutoff device and make sure that the cut-off blades are seated up to the stop under the part to be removed
Screw the pullers pull bolts into the threaded holes of the separator as far as they will go
Hold the separating device and pull the part off safely and carefully by tightening the clamping nut
